It mixes "popular vertical short dramas, original stories, and AI-powered innovative content", and even offers "AI Co-Creation" to build your own story. It's free to download, and its website plays the first episodes of each series (the first 10 on the series we checked) before sending you to the app. In the app you pay with coins or a membership: the US listing shows a Weekly Membership at $12.99 and $19.99, a Monthly Membership at $39.99 and coin packs at $4.99, $9.99 and $19.99. Memberships renew automatically and are cancelled in your Apple or Google settings; support is by email at [email protected].
What FlickReels is
FlickReels is a vertical short drama app: series built for the phone, in short episodes that end on a cliffhanger. Its genres are the usual ones, CEO romance, werewolves, revenge and family drama, and on 6 October 2026 its website was full of mafia bosses and alphas [3]. New to the format? Is FlickReels AI?
Partly, by its own description. The listing says FlickReels brings together "popular vertical short dramas, original stories, and AI-powered innovative content", that "AI technology creates a unique visual style", and it advertises AI Co-Creation, a feature to "craft your own exclusive story" with AI [1]. It doesn't say which series are AI-made and which aren't, so we can't tell you for a given title.

Who is behind it
The user agreement names FARSUN PTE. LTD. as the provider, and refers to the laws of Singapore among those users must respect [2]. Children under 13 may not use FlickReels; users aged 13 to 17 need a parent's or guardian's consent [2].
How much does FlickReels cost?
The prices on the App Store
The US listing shows ten in-app purchases (read on 6 October 2026) [1]:

On the Italian store, the Weekly Membership is €6.99 or €14.99, the Monthly Membership €29.99, and coin packs €2.99, €7.99 and €17.99 [4]. The listing says memberships "will automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period" [1].
Worked examples (assumptions, plain arithmetic)
- Four weeks at $19.99: 4 × $19.99 = $79.96, about double the monthly membership.
- Four weeks at $12.99: 4 × $12.99 = $51.96, still more than $39.99 a month.
- Where they cross: the monthly plan is cheaper than the $19.99 weekly one from the second week (2 × $19.99 = $39.98).
- A forgotten weekly plan for a quarter: 13 × $19.99 = $259.87.
Is FlickReels free?
Partly. Downloading is free, and so is the start of each series.
Watching on the website
flickreels.net plays episodes in the browser. On 6 October 2026, the series we checked played episodes 1 to 10 on the website; from episode 12 on, the page said "You need to download APP to watch this episode" [3]. The site doesn't sell memberships.
Points and coins
The user agreement says points from activities, purchased coins and memberships can only be used inside FlickReels, can't be exchanged for money or transferred, and that the company may "manage, adjust, modify, or clear virtual currency at any time" [2]. If you close your account, unused benefits are forfeited and can't be refunded [2].
"FlickReels free apk"
Modified APKs and uploads outside the official channels aren't FlickReels. They infringe the creators' rights and are a common route to malware. Our guide to free short dramas covers the legal routes.
Is FlickReels legit and safe?
What we can verify
FlickReels has a named company, a public user agreement and privacy policy, official channels listed on the App Store (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and flickreels.net) and 105,513 ratings in the US, the largest count among the newer apps we've covered [1][2]. Payments go through Apple or Google. It's a legitimate business.
Where the money risks are
- Weekly memberships add up. Four weeks of the $19.99 plan cost twice the monthly one.
- Virtual currency can be adjusted by the company, per its own terms.
- Closing your account forfeits whatever you haven't used.

- Who publishes it?A named developer on the official store listing, not a link from a social post.
- How many ratings?A 4.9 from 200 ratings means less than a 4.7 from 200,000.
- What is the billing period?Weekly, monthly or yearly: it is on the purchase sheet, read it before you confirm.
- Does it renew by itself?Subscriptions renew until you cancel with Apple or Google.
- What does one unlock cost?Turn coins into money before you spend them.
- Is there a free route?Free episodes, bonuses or ads: see how far they really get you.
- Does the age rating fit?Stores rate these apps from 13+ to 18+; check who will watch.
How to cancel FlickReels
Memberships bought in the app are billed by Apple or Google, so you cancel them there. Deleting the app cancels nothing.

Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. On iPhone you may have to scroll to see the button, and an expiration message in red means it is already cancelled. Can’t find it? On iPhone, look for the Apple receipt in your email to see which Apple Account paid; on Android it may be on another Google account, so switch accounts in the Play Store.

No cancel button, or an expiry date in red, means it's already cancelled [5].

Customer service number and email
FlickReels doesn't publish a phone number. Its website lists [email protected] for users and [email protected] for business [3]. You don't need them to cancel: Apple and Google manage the membership.
What happens when, on a weekly plan
- Day 1: you subscribeA weekly plan renews by itself every 7 days until you cancel it.
- At least 24 hours before renewal: cancelThat is the deadline the ReelShort listing gives, and Apple says the same for free trials.
- After cancelling: you keep what you paid forAccess runs to the end of the period. Google’s example: a yearly plan bought on January 1 and cancelled on July 1 stays active until December 31.
- Coins: cancelling is not a refundCancelling stops future charges. What happens to coins you already bought depends on each app’s terms.

Refunds
Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are refunded, if at all, by the store: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google through Google Play's order history [7][6]. Cancel first so the next renewal doesn't charge you while you wait.

Four weeks of the weekly plan cost more than the monthly one at either weekly price.
Assuming every series is AI, or none is
The listing says it mixes regular dramas, originals and AI content. Check the series.
Closing the account to "cancel"
Closing the account forfeits unused coins and doesn't stop a store subscription. Cancel in Apple or Google settings.
Looking for a phone line
There isn't one. Use [email protected], and cancel in the store yourself.

Turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app or closing your FlickReels account doesn't cancel the store subscription, and closing the account forfeits unused coins.
Does FlickReels have a customer service number?
No phone number is published. The website lists [email protected] for users. You don't need to contact them to cancel: memberships are managed by Apple or Google, and you can cancel in your phone's settings. Write to support for problems with coins or unlocks.
Can I watch FlickReels on a computer?
Partly. flickreels.net plays the first episodes of each series in the browser, 10 on the series we checked, then says you need the app. TotalShort plays every episode of its series in the browser, on a computer too.
