At her father's funeral, Gaia learns that the family lemon grove on the Amalfi Coast now belongs to Vera, his second wife, who hands her an apron and makes her a maid in her own home. On Sunday Vera sells it to a hotel, and the deal will be signed by Raffaele, the young notary Vera wants for her daughter. But Gaia's father wrote another will before he died.
